Digital collage using images I capture in Laval and Montreal are used as my visual source material for painting. However, despite it being so integral to my process, they are never shown with the final paintings. These two moving collages are my first experimental attempts in combining my collage practice with video and projection. I envision this potential new practice to be projected onto walls and on the paintings themselves. I want to see how moving collage can add narrative, a semblance of moving time and spacial complexity to my work.
